A Glance at Our Different Gliding Patio Door Designs

Renewal by Andersen® of Orange County is home to gorgeous, energy-efficient, and long-lasting gliding patio doors. Here’s a peek at our three distinctive designs:

Gliding Patio Door Designs

As a cross between traditional craftsmanship and space-saving operation, the Frenchwood reinvents old-world, classic French doors. It improves vintage mortise-and-tenon joinery with modern hardware styles, enhanced security features, reengineered panel construction, and high-performance, double-pane glass.

The Frenchwood has Andersen’s patented track rollers for easy sliding. Covered with a rigid vinyl sheath, it boasts an attractive appearance with carefree maintenance. It’s the most aesthetically versatile patio door design in our roster, being available in four exterior colors and three stainable, real wood interiors.

Narroline doors feature an authentic pine interior with mortise-and-tenon joints, which you can stain to match your existing woodwork. Their exterior wood panel is covered with a urethane base finish, making them proof against water.

Paying homage to contemporary architecture, the Narroline has sleek frames for maximum glass area. Gliding on Andersen’s dual ball-bearing rollers with self-contained leveling adjusters, Narroline patio doors guarantee smooth operation for the years to come.

Like Narroline units, Perma-Shield sliding glass doors slide on the same rollers and have thin frames. But unlike the Narroline, our Perma-Shield design features rigid wood panels protected with a vinyl sheath skin for a lovely, virtually maintenance-free finish. Its tough surface safeguards its engineered wood substrate for enduring durability. The Perma-Shield is only available in four solid interior and exterior colors.

At Renewal by Andersen of Orange County, all our patio doors come in our High-Performance™ Low-E4® glass options with numerous grille designs. They feature a unique reach-out locking system, which pulls the door panel snugly into the jamb for increased security and weathertightness. You can also add an auxiliary foot lock to make gliding doors practically impregnable with more ventilation opportunities.
