Choosing the Right Windows Part 2: Our Customization Options

For the first part of our special blog, we talked about the best window styles for main home areas. This time, Renewal by Andersen® of Orange County wants to shed light on the customization options at your disposal.

Customization Options

In hopes of helping you achieve your functional and aesthetic goals, here are the elements to tweak or add to design your windows your way:

Our High-Performance™ Low-E4® glass solutions come in different ratings to suit your unique energy efficiency needs, but our glazing design options don’t stop there. Apart from the standard rectangular form, we can cut our glass in peculiar shapes to add more interest to your home. We specialize in an array of configurations, including round, arched, and pentagonal, to diversify the geometry of your glass units.

Moreover, we offer glass patterns to make your windows translucent, which is perfect when raising privacy levels without blocking the entry of light. We also have art glass designs to enhance your home design, while our Low-E glass packages are available in tempered versions for greater safety.

We’re masters of window grilles. We can bring any pattern to life and install grilles in different ways to render maintenance carefree. Whether you want your home to be historically accurate or turn your distinctive concepts into reality, we can deliver.

Thanks to our innovative extrusion process, we can fuse virtually any color into our Fibrex® frames. Currently, we can do 47 exterior-interior color combinations to beautify your home inside and out. We offer nine stunning exterior hues, including dark ones, which you wouldn’t find in other manufacturers. On the other hand, we have five solid interior colors and three stainable, real wood options to match your existing décor.

Hardware Finish

We only use the premium Estate® collection of hardware for our double-hung, casement, bay, bow, and gliding windows. It comprises eight gorgeous metal finishes designed to stand the test of time. Our brass, nickel, and chrome varieties come with a special coating to protect against tarnish and corrosion. Our bronze finishes have a “living” patina, which grows lovelier with time and use.

To keep the bugs out, we only use the TruScene screen. Made from micro-thin, stainless wire, it allows uninterrupted ventilation and daylighting and is nearly invisible to avoid affecting the clarity or color of your views. You’d hardly even notice you have it.
